It is said that a long time ago a branch of humanity was forced to retire into the oceans in order to survive, over time adapting to the new habitat. Nobody knows exactly how many eras it takes the whole process but we already know that we are the product of genetic engineering to live on the land, so it would be a pertinent hypothesis that in the same way has been done with a branch of humanity to make it adaptable to aquatic enviroment. Who knows...Ancient, medieval and contemporary sources have recorded their frequent appearances through personal testimonials and murals but unfortunately officials never wanted recognition of this truth for reasons we can only suspect.
Many people appreciated these initiatives as fakes, but one aspect can hardly be removed, if not impossible:
